Illawarra Schools Excellence in Vocational Education & Training Awards 2015

The annual Illawarra Schools Excellence in Vocational Education & Training (VET) Awards were held on Tuesday 10 November 2015 at the Sage Hotel in Wollongong. These awards recognise the extraordinary achievements of students across a wide range of industry categories as they strive towards their HSC. Students were nominated by their school, training organisation or by the workplacement host employer.

In 2015, a total of 59 local students were nominated, in some cases by both their school and host employer. They were then interviewed and assessed by a panel of education and industry representatives as worthy recipients of a Certificate of Excellence in Vocational Education & Training.
