Southern Highlands Schools Excellence in Vocational Education & Training Awards 2015

Presented by: Workplace Learning in partnership with The Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The annual Southern Highlands Schools Excellence in Vocational Education & Training (VET) Awards were held on Tuesday 17 November 2015 at the Mittagong RSL Club. These awards recognise the extraordinary achievements of students across a wide range of industry categories as they strive towards their HSC. Students were nominated by their school, training organisation or by the workplacement host employer.

In 2015, a total of 20 local students were nominated; they were then interviewed and assessed by a panel of education and industry representatives as worthy recipients of a Certificate of Excellence in Vocational Education & Training.

EMPLOYERS

Each year we look to more than 200 businesses in the Southern Highlands to use their industry knowledge and expertise to provide training and mentoring to the many students who require it as part of their HSC. Employers participate voluntarily and our experience is that they take a great deal of pride and satisfaction out of being involved and in passing on their expertise to the next generation.

In 2015 the recipients of these awards were:

Pinczi Builders – EXCELLENCE IN WORKPLACE TRAINING

PM White Building – EXCELLENCE IN WORKPLACE TRAINING
